Lakes in the Vicinity of the Hotel

The ‘Geiseltal’ lake nearby the Best Western Hotel Halle-Merseburg has been named the largest artificial lake in the German Federal Republic in 2010. Enormous re-cultivation measures were taken to bring the lake back to life. Hiking and water sports, such as rafters, as well as horse riding and cycling; going by express train or in-line skating around the lake, everything is possible at ‘Geiseltal’ lake! The vineyards on the lake’s hills will let you feel the Mediterranean atmosphere in summer.
